Fitness Sessions with Angel will be taking over Woodhill in January 2011! This was especially created for YOU the busy career woman or mommy that never has time for herself. This amazing new venture will force you to do away with all those weight-loss excuses...you will no longer have to drive to gym or get all dressed up for this occasion. Starting off with one “killer” session per week you will be motivated, inspired and ready to shed those kilos with tonnes of support. These sessions will be toning orientated mixed up with some Pilates, cardio and so much more. In these sessions you will earn your shower and see the results. Pre-cooked meals with calorie counted menus will be available after each session. So I will cover it all...no excuses....training...nutrition...and encouragement to face YOUR own mountains.
In the words of Kimora Lee Simmons: “As woman we can do it all...and best of all...you can do it in stilettos too!”
I am my own weight-loss success story and I truly believe that every woman can be inspired by their own strength coming from within.
My school days were filled with numerous diets and the last time I counted I think I ended at a grand total of 10 diets I have tried, tested and lost. When you reach a point of absolute failure, you can begin re-building the self-confidence that you deserve.
When you change your lifestyle, be sure to adapt your spirit accordingly seeing as this will keep you motivated and strong when your body wants to fail. Pleasure and pain are not opposites, they are neighbours separated by a second in time and it is up to you to decide to choose either one.
Since then I have been teaching Aerobics classes for the last 10 years, been named the best selling cover model for Fitness Magazine, been placed 1st as Miss Bikini in the fitness industry and I am now on my way to compete in the Fitness Universe Pageant in Las Vegas.
What did I start doing differently you might ask...
My lifestyle has completely changed and so can yours! Fitness is not a goal orientated sport for me anymore; it has become part of my life. And this is just the trick...! Stop your compulsive weighing sessions, stop depriving your body and keep your mind focussed on the end result...that no 6 bikini!!!!
People always say that I have it easy seeing as I am still young. My response to this is that even though I am young I face my own physical challenges and on a daily basis I “meditate” on my health goals knowing that it is a daily work in progress. I often wonder...how may woman get put down by people just hating their success...and they then never raise to find the Fitness Cover Model within them...? In my opinion you should surround yourself with positive wording, thinking and especially people who believe in the best that you can be. Especially when you are in the process of reaching your fitness goals.
Tip of the day:
In my off season I still refrain from eating that entire pizza or stuffing my mouth with a fatty burger...make no mistake, I do eat this but in moderation. Depriving your body completely is not the answer; believe me I have been there too! To rather cheat with a sugar is a better option seeing as this gets burned much faster. Now this secret I have mastered and my off season makes the competition diet all worth it.
That said ladies; I aspire to eat “clean” up until the weekend. I stick to a high protein lifestyle but without cutting out all of the carbs. Training has to be done in conjunction with eating, breathing and living healthy. Supplementation, nutrition & training...that’s the secret fitness CODE!
You are your only competition and if you can beat yourself-doubt the battle has been won!
Whether your aim is to lose weight, pick up some “booty liscious buns”, keeping fit or tightening up...know this...
It will not be easy, it will not be a quick fix and it will definitely not be just a 10 minute workout...but if you endure, struggle and push through the aching muscles and cravings...the sweat will pay off and the results will taste better than your biggest cheat!
May today be the inspiration you needed to succeed in concurring your OWN weight-loss success story. Arnold Swatzeneger said “that the strongest muscle in your body is your mind”, so don’t underestimate your thoughts.
IN THE GAME OF LIFE nothing is guaranteed but know that you are the only one that can consciously decide the outcome of your own strengths.
